We are constantly improving our worm castings, our processes, and, hopefully, making our customer’s life easier in the garden by allowing them to bigger, better, and more fruitful plants. My hopes are to use this section of the website to discuss topics around our products and how they’re used in the garden.
I want to use this to discuss the experiments we are running with our castings. As an example, I am growing potatoes in grow bags this year with worm castings incorporated into the soil mix. I would like to report back on the successes and failures of that experiment.
While we’re on the topic of experiments: one of the common complaints about worm castings is that the beneficial bacteria in commercially produced castings is gone when the product is dried out to make it easier to ship to the customer. I would like to test that theory and post the results here; good, bad, or otherwise.
Check back into this section of the website periodically to find out what we are working on at Dirt Hospital.
